We’re launching a $250 “Feed the Crew” micro-stipend to help with the creation of your short film—covering on-set meals and essential production needs so you can stay focused on the story. For selected projects, Faith Through Films will serve as Executive Producer and Distributor, guiding the project from development through release under our banner.

How much can I request through grants?
Grants are available up to $150,000 for shorts or features.
What is the $250 “Feed the Crew” stipend?
The “Feed the Crew” stipend is a $250 micro-grant designed to help with the creation of your short film—primarily meals and other on-set essentials—so you can focus on storytelling. It’s generally easier to obtain than larger grants and is intended for projects currently in production or soon to go into production.

For selected projects, Faith Through Films will serve as the Executive Producer and Distributor, helping shepherd the film from production through release under our banner. To be considered, simply check the “Only interested in the $250 ‘Feed the Crew’ stipend” box in the Grant application. You are welcome to submit one application for the main grant and another for the stipend using the same film. Please note that the application fee applies to each submission separately.
What do I need to apply for funding?
Ideally: talent attached, some funding in place, and a pitch deck. We’ll follow up by email if we’re interested.
What qualifies as “soft money”?
Tax incentives/rebates, pre-sales and LOIs, distribution agreements/MGs, gap/bridge/P&A, co-productions, and brand partnerships—up to $10M.
When are decisions made?
We review weekly and reach out to shortlisted projects with next steps.
Why is there an application fee?
We are looking for serious candidates only. Each submission is personally reviewed by our team, and the small application fee helps us dedicate that time and attention to projects that truly align with our mission. We ask that you only apply if your film genuinely fits within the spirit and vision of Faith Through Films.

These grants are not for general or mass submissions. We want to avoid sifting through thousands of unqualified entries so that your story — if it aligns with our focus — doesn’t get lost in the crowd. The fee simply ensures we can give every qualified applicant the thoughtful consideration they deserve.
My film doesn’t fit the “faith-through-life” genre — can I still submit?
Absolutely! We partner with affiliate distributors who are always seeking strong, meaningful stories. If your film is a better fit elsewhere, we’ll gladly refer it to the right partners.
How long does the review process take?
Most applications are reviewed within 2–4 weeks, depending on the number of submissions and the complexity of your project.
Can I apply for both funding and a grant?
Yes! You’re welcome to apply for both opportunities. Grants support early or finishing stages, while funding covers production and distribution partnerships.
Do you take any ownership or rights in the film?
Not automatically. You retain full ownership unless you enter a separate distribution or financing agreement with us.
Can international filmmakers apply?
Absolutely! We welcome filmmakers from all over the world whose stories align with our mission to uplift and inspire.
What kinds of stories are you looking for?
We focus on stories grounded in faith-through-life themes—projects that explore hope, redemption, and human connection across any genre.
What if my project isn’t fully developed yet?
That’s perfectly fine. Share whatever materials you have—logline, synopsis, or pitch deck—and we’ll evaluate its potential fit and stage of readiness.
Will I receive feedback if I’m not selected?
While we can’t guarantee individual feedback due to submission volume, some filmmakers may receive personalized notes or an invitation to resubmit.
Can I reapply if I’ve submitted before?
Yes, you’re encouraged to reapply if your project has made significant progress, such as new materials, talent, or funding updates.
